The National Cadet Corps (NCC), administered by the Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India, is the largest youth organization of the country.
The NCC unit of Raja Rammohun Roy Mahavidyalaya was established in 1964. It functions under 4 Bengal Battalion (Burdwan) as its 4/6th company. At present it has an enrollment of 160 students with 33% reservation for women. Regular parade sessions are conducted in the college ground. Other activities performed by the company throughout the year are as follows:
1. Organizing Blood Donation Camps
2. Cleanliness programme in the neighborhood as a part of Swachh Bharat Misson
3. Tree plantation programme
4. Observing National Yoga Day
5. Participating in various programmes like Republic Day celebration at the college campus and in the sub-divisional level at Arambagh, Independence Day celebration at the college campus.
6. Voluntary service in the neighboring area during the COVID pandemic situation.
