Library at a glance:
Raja Rammohun Roy Mahavidyalaya is a multi-disciplinary college, situated at Radhanagar, the birth place of Raja Rammohun Roy and the Central Library located at the of main college premises which is established in 1964. The Central Library is open access college library affiliated to The University of Burdwan. It is an enriched library with a collection of more than 32000 books in different disciplines. All the books are classified according to DDC 19th edition. The library has online membership of e-resources through N-LIST. The library is housed in the first floor of the main college building with a spacious stack room, separate reading rooms for teachers and students. The Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) KOHA had been introduced to the library in 2016 in a local server and in 2022 it has been shifted to cloud server to provide better service to the users. Presently the library is partially automated with web-OPAC facility.The library entry-exit and baggage counter are under the CCTV monitoring.
